Crystal Zirconia
Introduced to the world in the 1970s, crystal zirconia (cubic zirconia) resembles a champagne diamond, without the price tag. Unlike real diamonds, which are natural gemstones, crystal zirconia gems are man-made in a laboratory. This process involves heating zirconium oxide powder at extreme temperatures, with chemicals added to give the stones an appearance similar to diamonds.
Crystal zirconia gems do not have inclusions or small imperfections as diamonds often do and therefore are transparent with a bright sparkle.
